Home Bar opens this month in West Town, and the cats drink for free. Jess and John Feller — who run the vintage-glassware shop Happy Hour Shop up the street, and the cocktail-kit company Aged & Infused before that — are opening their first bar at 2010 W. Fulton St. Eight rotating cocktails at $12, a retail wall stocked with the ingredients so you can go home and make what you just drank, and a martini program split down the middle: dry for John, dirty for Jess. The "cats drink free" bit isn't a joke — their three-legged cat Mr. Biscuits has almost 50,000 Instagram followers and gets his own nightly cocktail.

Taste of Lincoln Avenue returns July 24–26 on the 2500 block of Lincoln Ave. — its 42nd year. Food, art and craft vendors, live music, whiskey and spirits tasting, and a Saturday morning dog parade.
🌿 GET OUTSIDE
Holstein Pool in Bucktown — the one neighbors call the "Bucktown Country Club" — is still closed for a state-mandated filter system replacement, but the Park District says it's "on track" for a late-July reopening after equipment delivery delays pushed it past the citywide mid-June pool opening. California Park has picked up the lap-swim overflow in the meantime.

Alo Yoga is taking over 1572 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park — the storefront that was the legendary Double Door for 25 years before Yeti's cooler shop closed there last August after six years.
More than 80 cars were towed from Stockton Drive in Lincoln Park ahead of the June 28 Pride Parade after the block was designated a float dispersal route. Residents say they never saw posted no-parking signs; the city says signage went up June 24–25. Ald. Knudsen's office punted questions to the parade organizers, who punted them back to the city.
